While this photo isn't the best, it does sum up one of the great things about my neighborhood. As I sat in the living room approximately 15 feet away from this scene (which included 2 more police cars than are pictured); I had no idea any thing had gone down. No sirens, a surprise attack in the middle of the night! Who else gets such excitement? Well, I'm sure that from time to time my friends insidethedistrict and Sister Disco get similar showings.

This is why I love Columbia Heights
