Though, not the friends we are most familiar with at the pRat. These are (I know this will make me sound like a jaded city girl) the small, cute kind that we let children (not mine EVER, mind you) have as pets. Granted, it probably means that the larger, scarier friends are behind the scenes. It still just smells too nice for me to believe that...

I am not 100% certain I follow what you are saying here...but it frightens me.
These are mices, district, not big old nasty rats! Though I suspect the nasty ones are hiding behind the walls...and yes, bosox, it was the health & beauty aisle! (hair accessories, in fact).
