Things to be grateful for...

Many of you who live in DC (or have lived here) know that there tends to be few things to be grateful for, especially when it comes to city services. Metro often finds itself the brunt of complaints; broken escalators/elevators, delayed trains, infrequent service on nights & weekends. But at least we do not have to put up with this (though I might advocate it for tourists...)
